Yorkshire captain Andrew Gale helped Cleckheaton to extend their lead at the top of the JCT 600 Bradford League First Division as defending champions Woodlands suffered a surprise 80-run defeat at Bradford & Bingley.
Woodlands ended their three match losing run with a seven wicket home win over Saltaire, but remain in second place after JCT 600 Bradford League First Division leaders Cleckheaton beat bottom club Baildon.
Cleckheaton are the new leaders of the JCT 600 Bradford League First Division. They took over at the top after beating Pudsey St Lawrence by eight wickets while leaders Woodlands lost by 40 runs at Lightcliffe.
Furness took advantage of a weather-affected draw by their rivals Cleator to move even further clear at the top of the North Lancashire and Cumbria League Premier Division.
While they beat Millom by seven wickets, Cleator's match with Haverigg ended without a positive result, enabling Furness (175 points) to stretch their lead to 26.
