Swardeston Cricket Club Wins Major New Sponsorship Deal

The Gibbs Denley East Anglian Premier League champions have agreed a three-year deal with Leathes Priors Solicitors to become the club’s overall sponsor. The law firm takes over from The Parson Woodforde and Aquaterra Energy, whose financial support over the past four years has seen Swardeston win four consecutive EAPL titles.

Sale CC pay tribute to Neil Fitton CBE - one of their finest bowlers

Neil Fitton, one of the finest bowlers to play for Sale CC, died recently aged 78. His funeral in Chester on 11th February was attended by four people from the club who knew him well from his playing days in the 1970s - Jim Younger, Glyn Roberts, Bob Remond and Roger Lee.
