Gloucestershire Sign Quick Bowler Wade

Gloucestershire have signed 27-year-old fast bowler David Wade - currently a Lance Corporal with the Royal Signals - on a two-year contract. Wade will train with Gloucestershire over the winter while still remaining with the Army before joining the club on a full-time basis this summer.

Cockbain Signs For Gloucestershire

Gloucestershire have signed former Lancashire and MCC Young Cricketer batsman Iain Cockbain on a two-year contract, the club has confirmed. Cockbain, who played second XI cricket for Lancashire before moving to Lord's in 2008, scored over 1400 runs in all competitions in second XI cricket in 2010 while he has also fulfilled 12th-man duties for England when they played at Lord's this summer.
