Woakes Out Of India Tour, Onions Called Up

Warwickshire all-rounder Chris Woakes has been ruled out of the remainder of England's tour of India with a thigh injury and has been replaced by Durham fast bowler Graham Onions. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed that Woakes suffered a left thigh strain during training between the first and second One-Day Internationals and will be returning home.

Onions Called Up As Tremlett Loses Fitness Battle

Chris Tremlett has been ruled out of fourth and final Test against India at The Oval while Durham fast bowler Graham Onions has been called up to England's squad as cover for James Anderson. Tremlett has been released from the squad due to the back injury he picked up earlier in the summer, forcing him to sit out the second and third Tests while Anderson has a thigh problem.
