Leicestershire CCC's players will be hosting a Question and Answer session in the Fox Bar at the end of day three of every home LV=County Championship fixture in 2011. Members and supporters are welcome to attend the event, which will happen approximately fifteen minutes after stumps are drawn.

Leicestershire Announce India T20 Sell-Out

Leicestershire CCC is delighted to announce that the visit of World Champions India to Grace Road on Monday August 29 is now a sell-out. Ticket sales have gone through the roof since India beat Sri Lanka to lift the World Cup on home soil and so the 20-over spectacular will be played at a jam-packed Grace Road on the Bank Holiday.

Leicestershire Join Forces With De Montfort University

De Montfort University (DMU) and Leicestershire County Cricket Club (LCCC) are joining forces in a new cultural partnership. Vice-Chancellor of DMU Professor Dominic Shellard signed a Letter of Cooperation with the club today (Monday 4 April) at the Grace Road ground with club Chief Executive Mike Siddall.

HSBC Merchant Services, wholly-owned subsidiary of Global Payments, the largest independent payment processor in the UK, has renewed its sponsorship of Leicestershire County Cricket Club for a second year. HSBC Merchant Services, whose head office of 300 employees is Leicester-based, enjoyed a fruitful first year as sponsor of the team, which helped it to increase its work in the local community.

The Board of Leicestershire CCC are pleased to announce that, at a Board meeting that took place on Thursday 10th March, Paul Haywood was re-elected to serve as Chairman of the Club. Philip Bland, who joined the board in late 2010 and has taken charge of the Club’s commercial operations was co-opted to the Board.

Leicestershire Plan Pre-Season Space Centre Visit

Awareness of space is a key attribute to being a professional cricketer – and Leicestershire CCC is taking that phrase literally as they launch pre-season preparations. The National Space Centre, Leicester's leading visitor attraction, has challenged the players to take on their exciting 'save the world' scenario, to see if they have the "right stuff" on Wednesday, March 16.

Shiv Thakor Wins British Asian Sports Award

Leicestershire CCC’s rising star Shiv Thakor picked up a prestigious award at the 10th annual Lebara British Asian Sports Awards (BASA) ceremony on Saturday night. The glittering event, which was held at the Grosvenor Hotel on Park Lane, London, recognises the most talented Asian sports performers in the UK and Shiv emerged victorious in the Telesky Shopping Young Sports Personality of the Year (Male Under-18).

David Wilson Foundation Makes Donation To LCCC

Leicestershire CCC is delighted to accept a fantastic £40,000 grant from the David Wilson Foundation, which will go into the Leicestershire Young Cricketers Education Trust (LYCET) and continue to support the exciting talent at Grace Road. Club President David Wilson, who was awarded a CBE in the Queen’s New Year’s Honours, has been extremely generous since the trust was set up in 2008 and the funding allows our gifted young cricketers to fast-track their development by being provided with new experiences abroad.

Tony Hill has stepped down from the Board of Directors of Leicestershire County Cricket Club. The resignation comes as the club's annual meeting is less than two months away.
