West Indies-Sri Lanka Game To Resume Tomorrow

Sri Lanka and West Indies will return to Port of Spain on the reserve day in a bid to get their latest tri-series One-Day International completed after just 19 overs were possible. Sri Lanka were put in to bat and were on 60 for three when rain arrived and three hours later, the decision was taken to end play for the day.

Dwayne Bravo Handed One-Game Suspension

West Indies captain Dwayne Bravo has been handed a one-match suspension by the International Cricket Council (ICC) after his side were fined for a slow over-rate for the second time in 12 months. The selectors have responded by calling up batsman Lendl Simmons to cover for Bravo's absence while Kieron Pollard will deputise as skipper for the game against Sri Lanka.

India kept their hopes of reaching the final of the One-Day International tri-series alive with a crushing 102-run win over the West Indies in Trinidad. A dashing century from captain Virat Kohli helped them post 311 for seven and either side of a rain delay, West Indies were bowled out for 171 to hand India a bonus point in victory.

Tharanga Stars As Ruthless Sri Lanka Hammer India

Twin centuries from Upul Tharanga and Mahela Jayawardene put Sri Lanka on course for a record-breaking 161-run win over India in their One-Day International tri-series match in Jamaica. Sri Lanka's score of 348 for one was the highest ODI score for a team losing just one wicket, Tharanga making 174 not out and Jayawardene 107.

Holder Replaces Injured Rampaul In West Indies Squad

Hosts West Indies have named their squad for the second half of the ongoing Tri-Nation series against Indian and Sri Lanka. Ravi Rampaul misses out after picking up an ankle injury during the win over Sri Lanka and is replaced by Barbados all-rounder Jason Holder as the only change in the 13-man squad.

West Indies Inch Over The Line Against India

West Indies made it two wins out of two in the One-Day International tri-series they are hosting after inching to a one-wicket victory over India in Jamaica. Set 230 to win, they lost three early wickets before half-centuries from Johnson Charles and Darren Bravo revived their innings, only for India to fight back only to be denied by last-wicket pair Kemar Roach and Tino Best.

Gayle Century Hammers Sri Lanka In Opener

Chris Gayle hammered an 89-ball century to set West Indies on course for a comfortable six-wicket win over Sri Lanka in the opening game of the One-Day International tri-series in Jamaica. Gayle's 109 in 100 balls set the home side on their way to 209 for four in just 37.5 overs after Sri Lanka had been bowled out for 208.

West Indies To Play 5 ODIs, 2 T20s Against Pakistan

West Indies will host Pakistan for a series of five One-Day Internationals and two Twenty20 Internationals in Guyana, Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent in July. The series begins with the first of two ODIs in Guyana on 14th July before the two sides move on to Saint Lucia to conclude the ODIs and then Saint Vincent for both Twenty20 Internationals on 27th and 28th July.

Tharanga, Mendis Recalled For Sri Lanka

Tillakaratne Dilshan is missing through injury and Thisara Perera has also been left out of Sri Lanka's squad for the One-Day International tri-series in the West Indies which begins later this month. Dilshan suffered calf strain during the ICC Champions Trophy 2013 semi-final against India and has been replaced in the squad by Upul Tharanga while spinner Ajantha Mendis has been recalled.

West Indies Leave Out Sarwan, Holder For Tri-Series

West Indies have dropped batsman Ramnaresh Sarwan and left out Jason Holder from their squad to take on India and Sri Lanka in the first set of matches in the Celkon Mobile One-Day International tri-series. Holder and Sarwan's absences are the only changes from the 15-man squad that challenged for the Champions Trophy with the selectors trimming the squad to 13 players.

India Unchanged For West Indies ODI Tri-Series

India have named an unchanged 15-man squad to travel to the Caribbean to play Sri Lanka and West Indies in a One-Day International tri-series which begins on 28th June. The selectors have understandably kept faith with the same squad of players that beat Pakistan, South Africa and West Indies to reach the sem-finals of the ICC Champions Trophy 2013.

West Indies Fined For Slow Over-Rate During Tie

Following the tie with South Africa that knocked them out of the ICC Champions Trophy, West Indies' miserable day got worse when they were fined for maintaining a slow over-rate. They were deemed to be one over short of their target at the end of South Africa's innngs of 230 for six in 31 overs during a rain-affected match.

Dramatic Tie Puts South Africa Through, West Indies Depart

West Indies were left to rue the extraordinarily bad timing of Kieron Pollard losing his wicket as they ended up sharing a Duckworth/Lewis method tie which knocked them out of the ICC Champions Trophy 2013. Chasing 231 to win in 31 overs, and with his side just ahead on the Duckworth/Lewis method, Pollard was caught by Dale Steyn off Ryan McLaren, leaving the scores effectively level when the players left the field moments later.

India Secure Semi-Final Spot With West Indies Thrashing

India became the first team to book their place in the semi-finals of the ICC Champions Trophy - knocking Pakistan out while doing so - with a comprehensive demolition of the West Indies. There were several parallels with their defeat of South Africa on Thursday. Shikhar Dhawan hit a century while Ravindra Jadeja was once again mightily impressive with his left-arm spin.

West Indies Do Just Enough To Beat Pakistan

West Indies returned to the venue of their 2004 ICC Champions Trophy success to beat Pakistan in very similar circumstances in their opening match of the 2013 tournament. The Oval hosted their two-wicket victory over England almost nine years ago and after bowling Pakistan out for 170, they made heavy weather of their run chase before limping over the line to win - by two wickets once again.

Narine, West Indies Boosted By Warm-Up Victory

West Indies spinner Sunil Narine has recently become the number one-ranked One-Day International bowler according to the ICC rankings and he showed exactly why when taking two for 26 during his side's 17-run win over Sri Lanka in their final warm-up game ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2013. It was a confidence boost for the 2004 champions after they had been well beaten at the weekend by Australia and has given Narine a lift ahead of their opening game against Pakistan on Friday.
