Elonex Sport and Worcestershire County Cricket Club (WCCC) recently agreed a five-and-a-half year partnership announcing Elonex Sport as the Official & Exclusive: LED Supplier and LED Advertising Agent. Elonex Sport replaced the existing scoreboard near the new Graeme Hick Pavilion with a new state-of-the-art 30-square metre Jumbo LED scoreboard.

Klinger To Cover For Delayed Hughes At Worcestershire

31-year-old Australian batsman Michael Klinger will deputise for compatriot Phillip Hughes as Worcestershire's overseas player in the first half of the 2012 county season. Hughes' arrival at New Road has been delayed after he was included in Australia's training camps and Klinger steps in on the back of an outstanding run of form for South Australia.

Lucas Signs Three-Year Deal With Worcestershire

Worcestershire have signed Northamptonshire left-arm pace bowler David Lucas on a three-year contract which will begin at the start of the 2012 season. Lucas has spent five years at Northamptonshire, during which time he recorded first-class career-best figures of seven for 24 in 2009 when he took 60 wickets in the season.

Worcestershire Sign Roach To Replace Ajmal

Worcestershire have signed West Indian fast bowler Kemar Roach to replace Pakistan off-spinner Saeed Ajmal as their overseas player for the remainder of the season. Ajmal will be playing for Pakistan when they tour Zimbabwe and leaves for a training camp ahead of Roach's arrival at New Road.

Worcestershire all-rounder Gareth Andrew has signed a new two-year contract extension that will keep him at New Road until the end of the 2013 season. The former Somerset player had been subject to speculation that he was set for a move away from the West Midlands but he has decided to stay put.

Worcestershire fast bowler Alan Richardson has signed a one-year contract extension that should see him remain at New Road until the end of the 2013 season. Richardson, 36, joined Worcestershire in 2009 and has taken 39 County Championship wickets this season - in joint second place overall.

Matt Mason Announces Immediate Retirement

Worcestershire fast bowler Matthew Mason has announced his immediate retirement from professional cricket, ending a ten-year spell on the playing staff at New Road. He will remain with the county as a bowling coach, ending his first-class career with 314 wickets at an average of 26.91.

Worcestershire have beaten off compettion from other counties to sign former Lancashire and Cambridge University's Adrian Shankar. Shankar, 26, has signed a two-year deal at New Road following a winter in which he starred in the Sri Lankan Mercantile League.

Ben Scott Returns To Worcestershire On Loan

Worcestershire and Middlesex have secured a deal that will see wicket-keeper Ben Scott head back to New Road on loan for a minimum of a month with options to extend the contract. Scott featured in seven first-class matches for Worcestershire during a loan spell in 2010 and he is set to join up with the squad for their match against Warwickshire which begins tomorrow (11th May).

Worcestershire batsman Moeen Ali has signed a new two-year contract extension that will keep him at New Road until the end of the 2013 season. The new contract comes after a prolific 2010 season in which he scored 1,260 first-class runs and more than 800 in other competitions, going on to represent the England Lions.

Australian all-rounder Damien Wright is to make his debut for Worcestershire when the newly-promoted side take on Yorkshire in the opening game of the LV= County Championship. Worcestershire have named a 12-man squad for the home game against the side that finished third in last year's competition.

Shakib Al Hasan To Return To Worcestershire

Bangladesh captain and all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is set to join up with Worcestershire for a second spell, during June and July of this season's county season. He took 35 wickets in eight matches for Worcestershire in 2010 and is the third overseas signing made by Worcestershire following the impending arrivals of Damien Wright and Saeed Ajmal.
