Yorkshire County Cricket Club have confirmed that long-serving wicket-keeper Gerard Brophy will not have his contract renewed for the 2013 season. Brophy 36, has been an excellent servant to Yorkshire cricket since arriving at Headingley in 2006. He received his 1st XI county cap in 2008 and enjoyed a Benefit season in 2011. Gerard leaves a Club where he has become extremely popular and is now free to pursue opportunities elsewhere, with everyone in Yorkshire cricket wishing him well.
