Zimbabwe had to comprehensively beat the United Arab Emirates to stay in the hunt to qualify for the Super 10s of the ICC World Twenty20 and they did so, completing a five-wicket win with more than six overs to spare.
The second Test between Pakistan and Zimbabwe remains impossible to call heading into the final day. The home side require five wickets as their bowlers led a fightback after they had collapsed in their second innings.
It was expected that Pakistan would bat for a large proportion of the third day in Harare and steadily build a lead over the home side. However, Brian Vitori took five wickets as they lost their last seven wickets for 48 runs.
