The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed that Surrey fast bowler Chris Tremlett has replaced Stuart Broad in England's Cricket World Cup 2011 squad.
Broad has been ruled out of the rest of the tournament with a side strain, which he picked up during England's six-run win over South Africa in Chennai.
Tremlett has been with the squad as a travelling reserve and following his nomination to replace Broad by the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB), he was given approval to join the squad by the ICC's Technical Committee.
The news comes just one day after England replaced batsman Kevin Pietersen, who has flown home for surgery on a hernia problem, with Eoin Morgan.
Tremlett, who impressed in both Test and One-Day International cricket during England's recent tour of Australia, has played in 13 ODIs, in which he has taken 15 wickets.
England take on Bangladesh in their fifth Group B game in Chittagong on 11th March.
