Bangladesh A 202 & 131-3 (Roqibul Hasan 50no, Tredwell 2-50) v
England XI 281-7 declared (Trott 101, Prior 73no)
Tour game, Chittagong, day two

Jonathan Trott scored a century before James Tredwell and Roqibul Hasan continued to impress with two wickets and a half-century respectively on day two of the three-day tour game between Bangladesh A and the touring England side.

After Bangladesh A were bowled out for 202 on day one, England declared on 281 for seven and Bangladesh A closed the day on 131 for three.

England resumed on 68 for three and Warwickshire pair Trott (101) and Ian Bell (47) put on 96 for the fourth wicket before Bell was trapped in front by Mehrab Hossain and Trott, who hit 14 fours and faced 134 balls, retired after reaching his century.

Matthew Prior then hit 73 in 71 balls and the declaration came after Tim Bresnan (9) and Tredwell (0) were dismissed by left-arm seamer Mahbubul Alam.

Tredwell made up for his failure with the bat by having opener Shamsur Rahman caught by Steven Davies for 23 and Hossain caught by Alastair Cook for four.

Kevin Pietersen, who made just two with the bat, also struck to remove Zunaed Siddique for 23 before Roqibul, who scored an unbeaten 107 in the first innings, reached an unbeaten 50 in 96 balls while captain Mohammad Ashraful was unbeaten on 14.

England's first Test against Bangladesh in Chittagong begins on 12th March.
