Uganda Hit Back With 43-Run Win Over Bermuda

Uganda claimed a 43-run victory over Bermuda in their second one-day game in Nairobi, further impressing with a fine all round performance.

Batting first, captain Joel Olwenyi scored 68 and Arthur Kyobe 41 as they added 106 for the first wicket, a platform from which they were able to total 253 all out as Lionel Cann and Rodney Trott took two wickets apiece.

Bermuda then collapsed to 18 for 5 as Kenneth Kamyuka and Danniel Ruyange ripped through the top order with two wickets each. Janeiro Tucker (31), Lionel Cann (73) and Trott (46) fought back, but the damage had been done and Bermuda were bowled out for 210 after 46 overs.

The two games were played as part of Bermuda's preparations for their Intercontinental cup match against Kenya. Bermuda won the first match by seven runs.
