The team wear company run by top cricketer James Kirtley achieved a unique double when the Sussex Sharks triumphed over the Somerset Sabres in the Twenty20 Finals and booked their place in the lucrative Champions League in India in October.

With Kirtley leading the Sussex bowling attack at the weekend, the star cricketer and entrepreneur reflected on the pride he felt only twelve months ago when the Middlesex Panthers won the 2008 competition proudly wearing the MKK branded kit.  The rapidly growing label in professional and amateur sport is also worn by the Sussex squad and is becoming a good omen for any team looking to dominate in the globally popular short format of the game.

James said:

“I wanted to develop a sports clothing company supplying team wear that would complement and enhance the highest levels of performance.  While many of our teams and squads in amateur sports and independent schools are going great guns, it is also incredibly rewarding to see MKK winning on an international stage.”

The company is based on the south coast in Eastbourne and is quickly becoming a fixture among rugby, tennis, athletics and football clubs, as well as the many cricket teams and schools they supply.
