The United States of America and Italy have earnt promotion to ICC World Cricket League Division Three after they finished in the top two positions of the Division Four tournament in Italy.

A win for USA over Argentina and Italy's victory over Tanzania on the final day of group matches secured their places at the top and their dream of qualifying for the 2015 World Cup remains alive.

Argentina and the Cayman Islands, who lost to Nepal, will be relegated to Division Five with Nepal and Tanzania remaining in Division Four.

Division Three will take place in Hong Kong next year while the finals of the Division Four tournament take place tomorrow (21st August).

Italy will play USA for the right to call themselves champions, while positional play-offs see Nepal meet Tanzania and Argentina play the Caymans.
