Video - Australian PM Praises Ashes-Winning 'Improbables'

Watch as Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott paid tribute to the Ashes-winning Australian team, which he says made the 'improbable achievable'.

Fans turned out to laud Michael Clarke and his team at the Sydney Opera House for a public Ashes celebration.

And Abbott took the opportunity to pay his tribute, highlighting the way they had made history by naming the same team for all five Tests, and winning each one of them.

"You made the improbable achievable," he began. "You were the improbables because no one expected you to win. You have been the unchangeables - the first team in 100 years to be unchanged through a whole series.

"And we want you to be come the invincibles by going on to beat South Africa. That's your challenge and it is pretty obvious we are all willing you to succeed.

"Congratulations, thank you and go from strength to strength."
