The captains of the five sides competing in the 2014 Asia Cup - Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka - came together to line up with the trophy in Dhaka.
Bangladesh hosts the competition for the second consecutive occasion and Afghanistan are making their tournament debut.
The opening match sees reigning champions Pakistan take on four-times winners Sri Lanka before hosts Bangladesh meet India, who are without regular captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Virat Kohli will lead the 2011 World Cup winners against a Bangladesh side on Wednesday (26th February) missing Shakib Al Hasan, who has been banned by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for making a lewd gesture during the recent series with Sri Lanka.
Afghanistan then make their tournament bow against Pakistan on Thursday (27th).
The round-robin format continues until 6th March, after which the top two sides meet in the final on 8th March.
