Video - Clarke Needs To Bat Higher - Thomson

Former Australian international fast bowler Jeff Thomson believes that current captain Michael Clarke needs to bat higher up the order for the team to retain any hope of winning the Ashes.

Clarke has begun the series at his favoured number five position but many, including Thomson and Ian Chappell, are calling for him to move up to number four or even number three in the order.

England lead the five-match series 2-0 following wins at Trent Bridge and Lord's with the remaining matches at Old Trafford, Chester-le-Street and The Oval still to come.

This clip was taken from An Evening With Boycott & Aggers, filmed at Nottingham, where the pair are touring the country to celebrate the Ashes with their memories as well as interviewing guests on stage.
