England captain Alastair Cook says he remains proud of his team despite the fact that they have been comprehensively beaten by Australia in all three Ashes Tests so far.
Australia's 150-run win at the WACA put them into an unassailable 3-0 series lead and ensured they have regained The Ashes with two games to play.
But Cook denied that he was embarrassed having been on the end of three heavy defeats.
"I'm never going to be embarrassed no, because I'm very proud of the way we conduct ourselves," he said.
"As I say, in sport, you turn up and if you're not good enough you get found out. We haven't been good enough and we've lost, that's the reason we've lost, and I'll never be embarrassed about the way we go about things and the effort that the lads put in.
"It's a hard thing to say when you've been beaten and you deserved to get beaten. It's never good as a sportsman to admit it but we have."
