Ahead of the ICC World Twenty20 2014 final against Sri Lanka, Indian captain MS Dhoni predicts a close game in Mirpur, Dhaka.
Both sides have played a lot of cricket against each other, and in sub-continental conditions, and Dhoni believes that neither team has a definitive advantage going into the match.
"I don't think psychological advantage really matters because the difference between the good sides it's very narrow, the reason being that it is such a short format," he said.
"I feel that it all boils down to how well you have played on that particular day. And how the individuals respond to a particular situation and I think that will be crucial.
"It's not about what has been done in the past," he added.
"I don't mostly believe in stats a lot so, you know, it will be how we turn up on the field and, you know, if we can replicate what we have done so far in the tournament then we stand a very good chance."
India have won all five of their matches in the tournament so far, beating Australia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, South Africa and the West Indies.
Sri Lanka beat the Netherlands, New Zealand, South Africa and the West Indies but lost a group game to England and are bidding to win the tournament for the first time while India won the tournament back in 2007.
