Cricket Video - Freak Injury To Cricket World Cup Player At Lord's

19 January 2012

A cricket video from Cricket World reporting as Middlesex batsman and leg-spinner turned fast bowler Joe Denly inflicts a freak injury on Cricket World and SOC2020 Cup's Jim White during a net session at Lord's.

He and his team-mates are gearing up for the 2012 county season and the event was part of the launch of a new sponsorship agreement with Brooks Macdonald.

Jim recovered quickly enough from his blow but for the rest of us it is an example of another funny cricket injury, a bit of a blooper if you like, as it was an unexpected 'surprise'. And if we didn't know it already, Jim isn't quite as good as Sachin Tendulkar, David Warner or Virender Sehwag.
