Video - Gale On Pride Of Playing For Yorkshire

Yorkshire captain Andrew Gale tells us in this cricket video how proud he is to play for the White Rose county and to captain the side.

He was talking to us at an event held at Sheffield Collegiate CC, managed by Iconic Event Management, as part of Yorkshire's 150th anniversary celebrations.

Part of the event was to get youngsters along to spend time with the Yorkshire players and Gale adds that from events like these, perhaps a new Joe Root or Michael Vaughan - who both played at the club - might be unearthed.

"It means the world...it's a fantastic feeling," Gale says when asked about what it means for a Yorkshireman to play for Yorkshire.
