Video - Gayle Remembers Smashing Brett Lee At The Oval

West Indian opening batsman Chris Gayle followed up a scoring a century in the opening game of the 2007 ICC World Twenty20 with a blistering innings of 88 against Australia in 2009 at The Oval. During an epic contest with one of the world's fastest bowlers, he came out on top, hitting a number of huge sixes, although Lee eventually got his wicket, as Gayle remembers in this video interview. He talks about the impact innings such as that one and his more recent 175 for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Pune Warriors have on the game. He was speaking to us during the launch of the Chris Gayle Academy in London, which will eventually run alongside a similar Academy in Jamaica using cricket to help youngsters become mentors to others in their community. © Cricket World 2013
