England captain Stuart Broad admits he is gutted after his side lost the first One-Day International against the West Indies but praises the performances of debutants Michael Lumb and Moeen Ali.
Lumb, who made 106, and Moeen, who scored 44, were arguably the only positives to emerge from a disappointing England performance.
Broad laments his bowlers allowing the West Indies to score 269 by adding runs late on in their innings and his batsmen being unable to do the same when required during the run chase.
He adds that their bowling plans did not work and that they also had to deal with the wind during the West Indies innings which didn't help.
Nevertheless, he says it is 'not all doom and gloom' and that he will be taking positives from the performance.
England get a chance to hit back in the second game on Sunday.
