Video - ICC WT20 2014 Off To A Dramatic Start - Cricket World TV

In our first ICC World Twenty20 2014 news video updates, we take a look back at the first four matches in the qualifying tournament, the latest warm-up games and more news from Bangladesh.

The tournament got off to an underwhelming start with Bangladesh and Nepal taking huge victories over Afghanistan and Nepal respectively on the opening day in Group A.

Group B provided two closer encounters with Ireland winning winning a last-ball thriller over Zimbabwe in dramatic fashion.

The Netherlands had to contend with off-field controversy surrounding them replacing Tim Gruijters with Tom Cooper, but put that behind them to beat the United Arab Emirates.

There were also warm-up wins for Pakistan and Sri Lanka over New Zealand and India respectively.

After a sluggish start, the tournament is really beginning to get going...

Please note this video was recorded before the ICC issued their response to the Tim Gruijters/Tom Cooper allegations.
