Video - India Not Underestimating New Zealand - Bhuvneshwar

Indian fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar says that his side are in no way guilty of underestimating New Zealand after they lost the opening two One-Day Internationals.

New Zealand won the opening game in Napier by 24 runs before doubling their advantage in Hamilton where they came out on top of a rain-curtailed game by 15 runs.

Bhuvneshwar says that India have not been surprised by how well New Zealand have played and that they expected to be pushed hard in unfamiliar conditions.

"No. We are not surprised by them and no we did not underestimate them," he said.

"They are playing on their home ground. It is a bit suitable for them. They played good cricket so we are ready for this match."

India need to win all three remaining matches to claim a series win, but Bhuvneshwar says that the team is not feeling the pressure.

"I think that there's no pressure. We are confident. What we need is to focus. We have to be focussed and confident," he added.

"We are confident of winning the match. We are not sure we are going to win the match but we are confident."
