Ian Bell says his 109 scored over days three and four of the opening Test against Australia at Trent Bridge was his 'best Ashes hundred'.
His 18th Test century helped England reach 375 in their second innings and set Australia a challenging target of 311 to win the match.
The tourists then closed on 174 for six to set up an exciting final day in Nottingham as England look to go 1-0 up in the five-match series by preserving a record of never having lost a Test match in which Bell has reached three figures.
