Watch as fast bowler Steven Patterson talks with pride about how Yorkshire have produced three of England's Ashes winners and maintained a Championship title challenge.
With opening batsman Joe Root, batsman-wicket-keeper Jonny Bairstow and all-rounder Tim Bresnan part of England's plans this summer, Yorkshire have once again had to dig deep to challenge at the top of the LV= County Championship table.
Patterson, speaking to us at an event to mark Yorkshire's 150th anniversary managed by Iconic Event Management at Sheffield Collegiate Cricket Club, tells us that having grown up with Bairstow, he is pleased to see him in the England side.
He adds that it has always been part of Yorkshire's strength to produce players capable of stepping up in the absence of players called up by England and that it pays tribute to the development programme they have in place.
