There were also runs for Dwayne Bravo, Suresh Raina, Michael Hussey and captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni while Ravi Ashwin and Shadab Jakati shared five wickets when Delhi were bowled out for 136 in the 17th over.

There were no Sehwag sixes to celebrate as only Mahela Jayawardene, who made 55, put up much of fight.

Chennai will now play Kolkata Knight Riders in Sunday's final.
