India have been forced to make a further change to their Test squad after Varun Aaron was ruled out of the four-match series in Australia due to a back injury.

He has been replaced by the uncapped Ranganath Vinay Kumar as India's preparations for the series, which begins on 26th December, have been dealt another blow.

They have already had to deal with an injury to Praveen Kumar which resulted in Abhimanyu Mithun being called up while Zaheer Khan will only travel with the squad if he proves his fitness.

Vinay Kumar has played 14 One-Day Internationals and has an excellent first-class record of 241 wickets in 66 matches for South Zone, Karnataka, India A and the Rest of India.
