Warriors 156-3 (Boucher 40no, Kreusch 37no) beat
Wayamba 153-9 (Kulatunga 59, Theron 3-23) by 7 wickets

The Warriors made it two wins for the home sides in the Champions League Twenty20 by beating Sri Lankan champions Wayamba in the second game of the tournament in Port Elizabeth.

They scored their victory by closing on 156 for three after Wayamba had made 153 for nine from their 20 overs.

Opener Jeevantha Kulatunga hit 59 in 44 balls and wicket-keeper Kushal Perera made 39 in 24 balls but few other players could fire as Juan Theron returned three for 23 and Makhaya Ntini took two for 34.

Lonwabo Tsotsobe, Johan Botha and Nicky Boje took a wicket apiece.

In reply, Davey Jacobs hit 26 and Colin Ingram 34 before they were guided home with ten balls to spare thanks to Mark Boucher's unbeaten 40 in 26 balls and JP Kreusch's 37 not out in 29.

Chanaka Welagedara, Ajantha Mendis and Rangana Herath took a wicket apiece.
