The remainder of the trip will be spent doing light net sessions and fitness work along with visits to local schools where players will present cricket equipment to local school children.

Director of Coaching, Mark Greatbatch said, “Competition for places on the trip has been really strong despite the fact we have a number of players away on international duty. We have a large squad and unfortunately it was not possible to include everyone. Those players that have missed out will continue their preparations at home. They remain firmly in contention for a place in our opening fixture against Lancashire. Our selection policy is always based on merit and my coaching team looks as though it will have a tough job on its hands if everyone stays fit. That will be a nice problem to have as we approach the season proper.”
