After a period of quietness, The World Blind Cricket Council (WBCC) officers and members will meet in Dubai U.A.E. on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 May 2011.
Eight of the ten member countries/Agencies will be attending, they are: Australia, England, India, Nepal, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka and the West Indies.
High on the agenda will be discussion on Sight Classification new testing procedures, The relationship between blind cricket and other forms of disability cricket, As well as the relationship between the International Cricket Council and the World Blind Cricket Council.
The presenters include Hasan Minto of Sight Savers International, Ian Martin disability cricket director, England and Wales Cricket Board and John Long of the International Cricket Council.
Plans for a Cricket World Cup for the blind will also be discussed since the last one has held in Pakistan in 2006.
