Sri Lanka have called up uncapped Sajeewa Weerakoon to replace Rangana Herath for the remaining three One-Day Internationals against Pakistan.
Herath, who played in the first two matches in the series, taking one wicket, has been ruled out with a knee injury.
Fellow left-arm slow bowler Weerakoon is in line to make his debut at the age of 34 having played 126 one-day games during his career, in which he has taken 166 wickets.
The series is nicely poised at 1-1 after Pakistan won the opening game by six wickets and Sri Lanka hit back to win the second game by 76 runs.
Those games were held in Pallekele while the third match is the first in the series in Colombo.
