Two of the surprise packages from the recently concluded ICC Women’s World Cup, West Indies and Sri Lanka, will play a series of limited-overs matches later this month. The first of three One-Day Internationals will begin in Dambulla on 22nd February, with the first of five T20 Internationals taking place on 1st March at the R Premadasa.

West Indies, who finished as runner-up to Australia in the final have named the same 15 players that were on duty in India for the eight matches, with Sri Lanka, who beat South Africa to record a fifth place finish, expected to announce their squad in the near future.

West Indies squad: Merissa Aguilleira (captain, wicket-keeper), Stafanie Taylor (vice-captain), Shemaine Campbelle, Shanel Daley, Deandra Dottin, Kycia Knight (wicket-keeper), Kyshona Knight, Natasha McLean, Anisa Mohammed, Subrina Munroe, Juliana Nero, June Ogle, Shaquana Quintyne, Shakera Selman, Tremayne Smartt.

26th February: 3rd ODI in Dambulla
1st March: 1st T20I at R Premadasa
3rd March: 2nd T20I at R Premadasa

8th March: 5th T20I at R Premadasa
