Two of the surprise packages from the recently concluded ICC Women’s World Cup, West Indies and Sri Lanka, will play a series of limited-overs matches later this month. The first of three One-Day Internationals will begin in Dambulla on 22nd February, with the first of five T20 Internationals taking place on 1st March at the R Premadasa.
West Indies, who finished as runner-up to Australia in the final have named the same 15 players that were on duty in India for the eight matches, with Sri Lanka, who beat South Africa to record a fifth place finish, expected to announce their squad in the near future.
