Uncapped West Indian off-spinner Sunil Narine has been called up to replace injured quick bowler Kemar Roach ahead of the third Test against England at Edgbaston.

Narine joins up with the squad after taking 24 wickets in the Indian Premier League, where he helped Kolkata Knight Riders clinch their maiden title.

Roach returned home to Barbados following the second Test at Trent Bridge with shin muscle soreness that ruled him out of the rest of the tour.

24-year-old Narine has played eight One-Day Internationals and two Twenty20 Internationals for the West Indies.
