Sri Lanka Women 140 (Mohammed 5-34) by 88 runs

Shanel Daley, Merissa Aguillera and Stafanie Taylor all scored half-centuries to set the West Indies Women on course for an 88-run over Sri Lanka Women in the first One-Day International.
The home team scored 228 for six before Anisa Mohammed took five for 34 to dismiss Sri Lanka for 140 in reply.
Daley hit 63, captain Aguillera 62 and opener Taylor 53 as the West Indies posted a winning score having built their innings impressively.
By contrast, Sri Lanka struggled to build partnerships and were dismissed in 42.3 overs.
Tremayne Smartt grabbed a couple of early wickets before Mohammed took over, ripping through the middle order to leave the Sri Lankan innings in disarray.
Captain and wicket-keeper Dilani Manodara top scored with 37 while Shashikala Siriwardene made 34.
The second game in the three-match series is on 27th April.
