The West Indies have been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate during the first One-Day International against India in Jamaica.

Chris Gayle's men were deemed to be two overs short of their target when time allowances were taken into account during their 20-run defeat at Sabina Park.

Gayle was subsequently fined 20 percent of his match fee while his team-mates were fined ten percent as per ICC Code Of Conduct regulations.

The second match of four takes place tomorrow at the same venue.
