The West Indies began their tour of Bangladesh with a 65-run win over a Bangladesh Cricket Board XI in a 45-over game in Fatullah.
After winning the toss and choosing to bowl, the home side were beaten when dismissed for 152 in reply to West Indies' 217 for nine.
Ravi Rampaul finished the game off for the tourists with figures of four for 23 after Darren Bravo had earlier made 47.
The game was played with the new ICC playing conditions for international cricket in place with two balls being used - one per end - and the non-mandatory Power Plays taken between the 16th and 40th over.
The West Indies play a Twenty20 International, three One-Day Internationals and two Tests during their tour of Bangladesh.
