Sri Lanka 60-3 v West Indies
ODI Tri-Series, Port of Spain
Sri Lanka and West Indies will return to Port of Spain on the reserve day in a bid to get their latest tri-series One-Day International completed after just 19 overs were possible.
Sri Lanka were put in to bat and were on 60 for three when rain arrived and three hours later, the decision was taken to end play for the day.
The home side had made the better start, Jason Holder and Kemar Roach removing openers Upul Tharanga and Mahela Jayawardene for seven apiece before Dinesh Chandimal was bowled by Roach for two.
That left the Sri Lankans at 29 for three after which Kumar Sangakkara (11 not out) and Lahiru Thirimanne (13 not out) had begun to piece the innings back together, a job they will attempt to continue tomorrow.
