West Indies Women Training Squad Named

The West Indies have named a squad of 18 women who will attend a training camp which begins later this week ahead of the home series against New Zealand Women.

The camp will begin on 27th August and run until 8th September in Barbados and St Kitts.

They will then play One-Day Internationals - the first three of which count as part of the ICC Women's Championship - on 12th, 14th, 17th and 19th September.

Then three Twenty20 Internationals will be played on 23rd, 25th and 27th September.

Uncapped players Shamilia Connell, Hayley Matthew and Jodian Morgan join up with the squad that includes only one of the Knight twins - Kycia preferred to Kyshona.

Connell is a quick bowler from Barbados, Matthew also plays for Barbados as an off-spinning all-rounder and specialist bat Morgan plays for Jamaica.
