Warwickshire all-rounder Chris Woakes has earned an England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) increment contract after featuring in six internationals this summer.
By virtue of playing the Twenty20 International against Sri Lanka, three Tests against India and two One-Day Internationals against India, he qualifies for a contract upgrade.
The ECB awards contracts automatically once players reach a threshold of 20 points, awarding five points per Test appearance and two points per T20 or ODI appearance.
He also received an increment contract last season after making his Test debut against Australia at The Oval.
Woakes has now played four Tests, 15 ODIs and five Twenty20 Internationals for England.
