Ahead of the 11-day qualifying tournament in Bangladesh, all ten captains of the competing teams pose with the Women's World Cup.

From left to right they are: Stafanie Taylor (West Indies), Ema Kuribayashi (Japan), Doris Francis (USA), Mignon du Preez (South Africa), Salma Khutan (Bangladesh), Sana Mir (Pakistan), Dilani Manodara (Sri Lanka), Isobel Joyce (Ireland), Helmien Rambaldo (Netherlands), Sharne Meyers (Zimbabwe).

Four teams will qualify from the event and join hosts India, reigning champions England as well as Australia and New Zealand in 2013.

Dottin Drives West Indies To Series Victory
West Indies Women claimed a 2-1 series victory over India Women after a last-ditch three-wicket victory in the third and final One-Day International in Saint Kitts. After India posted 180 for seven, Deandra Dottin's 63 helped the West Indies close on 181 for seven with three balls to spare.
Taylor Sets Up Series-Levelling Victory For West Indies
Stafanie Taylor top scored with 75 to set up a series-levelling 42-run win for the West Indies Women over India Women in the second One-Day International in Saint Kitts. The home side closed on 204 for six before a brace of wickets apiece for Shemaine Campbelle, Anisa Mohammed and Shakera Shelman restricted India to 162 for nine in reply.
India Women Win Opening ODI In St Kitts
India Women kicked off their three-match One-Day International series against West Indies Women with a win at Warner Park in St Kitts. Mithali Raj and Amita Sharma both hit half-centuries for the visitors, while Ekta Bisht ended with figures of three for 18 from her nine overs.
