Leaders York's hopes of winning the ECB Yorkshire League and knock-out cup double for the second season in a row ended when Yorkshire Academy beat them by nine wickets in the semi-final.
The destroyer in chief was left arm pace bowler Alex Lilley who finished with the remarkable figures of seven wickets for ten runs in seven overs.
Only Ryan McKendry (32) and Richard Love (22), who put on 63 for the seventh wicket, offered much resistance as York were bowled out for 138 in 43 overs.
The Academy lost an early wicket when Jonathon Tattersall was dismissed for six, but fellow opener Alex Lees and JackLeaning led them home to victory with Lees making 60 and Leaning 53.
The Academy will meet Scarborough in the final.
