Yorkshire have signed Australian fast bowler Clint McKay as their second overseas player for the Friends Provident t20 competition.
McKay, 27, made his Test debut in December 2009 and has also played 10 One-Day Internationals having performed strongly for Victoria and Australia A, taking 33 wickets in Victoria's 2008/9 Sheffield Shield campaign.
“I am really excited about coming to Yorkshire and playing in a young side that has enjoyed such a positive start to the season," McKay said.
"I’ve heard a lot about the setup at Headingley Carnegie and I’m really looking forward to experiencing the atmosphere of twenty20 cricket in the UK. I cannot wait to get started.”
He joins South African batsman Herschelle Gibbs on Yorkshire's playing list for the tournament, which gets underway on 2nd June while Yorkshire begin their campaign with a home match against Derbyshire on 3rd May.
