Yuvraj Singh Charged With Dissent In Melbourne

Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh has been charged with dissent after refusing to leave his crease promptly when he was given out in the first innings of the first Test against Australia in Melbourne.

Umpire Billy Bowden adjudged that Yuvraj Singh had edged Stuart Clark behind with Adam Gilchrist claiming the catch. Yuvraj paused before taking his time to leave the pitch on day two of the match.

He is to attend a hearing with match referee Mike Proctor after day three.
