Zimbabwe have made no fewer than seven changes to their squad as they prepare to take on Kenya in an ICC Intercontinental Cup clash which begins in Harare on 7th October.

The Zimbabwe XI opened their Cup account with a draw against Afghanistan and find themselves in sixth place out of seven teams while Kenya are in second place.

Experienced international Vusi Sibanda captains the side and the other six players to come into the squad are Chamu Chibhabha, Gregory Strydom, Kyle Jarvis, Ed Rainsford, John Nyumbu and Samuel Mwakeyeni.

Kenya, meanwhile, have recalled Ragheb Aga to replace Seren Waters, who is unavailable due to studying commitments in England.

The two sides also compete in a five-match One-Day International series following the Intercontinental Cup match.

ZIMBABWE XI (squad): Vusi Sibanda (captain), Friday Kasteni, Chamu Chibabha, Gregory Strydom, Forster Mutizwa, Regis Chikabvha, Timycen Maruma, Kyle Jarvis, Shingirai Masakadza, Ed Rainsford, John Nyumbu, Tafadzwa Kamungozi, Samuel Mwakayeni.

KENYA (squad): Maurice Ouma (captain), Ragheb Aga, Steve Tikolo, David Obuya, Rakesh Patel, Alex Obanda, Collins Obuya, Nehemiah Odhiambo, Thomas Odoyo, Jimmy Kamande, Elijah Otieno, Lameck Onyango, Alfred Luseno, Peter Ongondo, Hiren Varaiya.

The second and final One-Day International between Scotland and Pakistan was abandoned without a ball being bowled at a wet Raeburns Place in Edinburgh. After several inspections throughout the day, the umpires were left with no choice but to call the game off, meaning Pakistan take the series 1-0 courtesy of their 96-run in the opening game two days ago.

Kenya beat Canada by four wickets to take their first victory in the 2011-13 ICC Intercontinental Cup competition in Dubai. They chased down 129 for the loss of six wickets on the final day having established a first innings lead of 50 and then dismissed Canada for 175 in their second innings.
Ireland took another big step towards securing qualification for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 with a six-wicket victory over United Arab Emirates in the second and final one-day game in Sharjah. The win, which followed up a five-wicket victory in the first game, extends their lead at the top of the ICC World Cricket League Championship table to four points.
Ireland extended their lead at the top of the World Cricket League Championship by beating nearest rivals United Arab Emirates by five wickets in the first of two one-day games in Sharjah. Batting first, UAE were dismissed for 165 as Paul Stirling and Alex Cusack both took three wickets and Ireland survived a mid-innings wobble to reach their target in 42 overs.
