Bangladesh won the toss and decided to field against Zimbabwe and restricted them to 119-7 in their 20 overs - Brendan Taylor 59* and Craig Ervine 29 were the main run getters for Zimbabwe and Mustafizur Rahman 2-25 and Al-Amin Hossain 2-22, the stars with the ball for Bangladesh.

 In reply, Bangladesh romped to victory with 4.1 overs to spare, and by 9 wickets, scoring 120-1 in 15.5 overs - Liton Das 60*, Mohammad Naim 33 and Soumya Sarkar 20*, the heroes with the willow.
