England won the 2nd Test in Galle against Sri Lanka by 6 wickets, taking the series 2-0. Joe Root’s England have now won five consecutive overseas Test matches and will move on to the Tour of India feeling confident.

It was a great day for England cricket - after being bowled out for 344, the spin bowlers set about their task and managed to bowl out Sri Lanka for just 126 – Dom Bess and Jack Leach both taking 4 wickets and Joe Root a couple at the end against the tailenders.
In the 4th Innings run chase, England lost 4 wickets, but Dom Sibley 56* and Jos Buttler 46* brought them comfortably over the line, in the end. Lasith Embuldeniya added another 3 wickets , taking his match tally to 10.
