Zimbabwe won the toss and decided to field against Bangladesh and Tamim Iqbal 128* and Liton Das 176 struch an opening partnership of 292 to give Bangladesh the best start possible. In a rain restricted match, Bangladesh totalled 322-3 in 43 overs.
In reply, Zimbabwe were never really in the run chase and were bowled out for 218 in 37.3 overs - Mohammad Saifuddin 4-41 doing the damage with the ball for Bangladesh.
