Batters win matches, on average, more than bowlers, in T20 cricket. If the batting line-up clicks, the opposition comes under immediate pressure. The IPL is no exception, in that respect, and with that in mind, we have compiled below a list of 5 batters to look out for, in IPL 2023, that have match winning credentials, whether batting first or second, for their franchises.

Before checking out our list, it is also worth mentioning the IPL betting markets available, at betway, where you can get some of the best odds on the tournament batters predicted performances.

1. Harry Brook (Sunrisers Hyderabad)

Harry Brook has been bought by Sunrisers at a very fat pay cheque. He has been in the form of his short career both in red ball and white ball cricket. Against Pakistan, Brook scored plenty of runs away from home. Against New Zealand too, he was very effective and one of the only batters in the series to shine bright.

Brook holds a healthy average of 33.77 in T20 cricket and he scores at an impressive strike rate of 148.38. Harry Brook plays very well on the subcontinent pitches and can get off the blocks swiftly. He doesn't waste a lot of balls before he gets going. Brook not only punishes the spinners but also is a fine player of fast bowling.

Harry Brook has taken the cricket world by storm with his heroics in all formats of the game. He plays with a lot of freedom, irrespective of the format. He has many shots in his book and is not afraid to use them, irrespective of the position his team might be in, at any given time. He is a great purchase for Sunrisers Hyderabad and his services will be key to Hyderabad's success in this years’ IPL season.

Prithvi Shaw played one his best innings in domestic cricket against Assam early this year. He smashed 379 runs, off 383 balls, to bring the Assam bowlers to their knees. His innings featured 49 fours and 4 massive sixes. With the kind of form, he is in, Prithvi Shaw can be the game changer for Delhi Capitals this season.
